March Moments

Spring is Here & Beautiful Things Ahead

🙏 How God is Working in Our Community

As we reflect on the warmth of spring, it’s clear that God is moving powerfully in the Lincoln Community. Stories of transformation, connection, and healing continue to pour in, and it’s evident that His hand is at work in ways big and small. From acts of kindness to answered prayers, God is bringing people together and showing His love in new ways every day!

Let’s continue to grow, serve, and embrace the beautiful things that God is bringing our way!

March has brought a refreshing warmth to our days, and with it, a renewed sense of energy and hope! As the sun shines brighter and the temperatures rise, we are reminded of the beauty that surrounds us and the incredible things God is doing in our community.

🌞 Spring Has Arrived!

It’s so exciting to step outside and feel the warmth of the sun on our skin. The days are longer, the flowers are beginning to bloom, and everything feels fresh and full of possibility. Nature's rebirth is the perfect reminder that God’s love for us is always renewing and growing.

Volunteer Highlight

Christopher Thompson

"Over the last five years, I have been privileged to be able to regularly volunteer on Saturdays at Lincoln Village; and through that work I have been enabled to serve the families and students of the Lincoln Community. In the course of the work, I have been blessed in numerous ways: I have developed handyman skills through the various tasks I have helped with, I have been able to deepen my personal relationships by bringing friends and family to the Village with me, I have been ministered to by the staff of Lincoln Village through their intentional friendship and care, and I have been able to physically see my effort produce real change in broken situations. However, as great as all of these benefits are, they are not the reason I keep coming back. I return to Lincoln only because Jesus Christ has saved me from the brokenness and darkness of my sinful soul and has given me His heart for the lost, the weak, and the needy. So it is among my greatest joys to be used as an instrument in my Redeemer's hand by helping Lincoln Village in their mission to share the transforming power of the Gospel of Christ in the Lincoln Community. It is a true gift to be invited into the work of Lincoln Village, and I am eternally grateful to have received that invitation and been allowed to continue to serve there for so long. So if you feel God directing your heart to the work of the Gospel in this city, I would heartily encourage you to come see what He can do through you at Lincoln. And if you are curious about what the big deal is, come to Lincoln and see the greatness of God as He is actively performing restoration and redemption in the city of Huntsville. We would love to show you."
